August Torsilieri Discusses Preparation for the 2017 Devon Fall Classic Welcome Stake
August Torsilieri of Torsilieri Show Stables shares with us how he and mount Samy du Reverdy prepared for the 2017 Devon Fall Classic Welcome Stake.
"Hi my name is August Torsilieri. I’m a Paws and Rewind Sponsored Rider. Today here at the Devon Fall Classic. I have Samy du Reverdy with me to show in the Welcome this afternoon, to prepare he’s been jumping the Grand Prix all summer long--at Fieldstone, was clear at Princeton, and he was at Swan Lake last week. [He’s] a hot horse who does well on small technical courses in small rings, so we’re hoping for a good result tonight."
